Die Kodes für '''kontinuierlich durchgeführte''' Hämofiltrationen (8-853.1, .7, .8), Hämodialysen (8-854.6, .7), Hämodiafiltrationen (8-855.1, .7, .8) und Peritonealdialysen (8-857.1, .2) verschlüsseln an 6. Stelle die Dauer der Maßnahme.<br />

Die Dauer ist vom Beginn bis zum Ende einer Behandlung zu ermitteln. Bei mehreren Anwendungen eines kontinuierlichen Verfahrens während eines stationären Aufenthaltes ist jede Anwendung mit einem Kode zu verschlüsseln (keine Addition der Behandlungszeiten). Ein Filterwechsel oder eine vergleichbare technisch bedingte Unterbrechung eines kontinuierlichen Verfahrens begründet jedoch keine erneute Verschlüsselung.<br />
