Eine klinische Untersuchung in Allgemeinanästhesie ist nur dann als eigene Prozedur zu kodieren, wenn die Untersuchung in Allgemeinanästhesie als selbständige Maßnahme durchgeführt wird. Sofern der OPS keinen spezifischen Schlüssel für diese Untersuchung enthält, so ist dann – und nur dann – der Schlüssel 1-100 Klinische Untersuchung in Allgemeinanästhesie zu verwenden (siehe Beispiel 2).<br />
<br />
Erfolgt in der gleichen Sitzung ein invasiver oder operativer Eingriff, der eine Anästhesie erfordert, so ist die klinische Untersuchung nicht gesondert zu kodieren (siehe Beispiel 1).<br />
